The Dawn of a New Era

The 42nd week of 2021 marks the beginning of a new chapter in DefiSports. Many spectacular displays of events took place one day after the other that sent the project’s name echoing throughout the crypto space. Here’s a quick look at some of the most interesting attributes of the week prior.

Whitelist Event
The whitelist for the presale was held at sweepwidget.com. It spanned over 10 days. Whitelists are important to not only market but to gauge who would go the extra mile for the project. It turned out to be a remarkable success as there were only 500 spots available yet sweepwidget was flooded with over 6600 participants. Not to mention, there were almost 196 thousand entries! With some individuals entering a couple of hundred times. The word was out, DefiSports gained entries in record time.

Presale
The presale was another huge success as we had the legendary Herbert R. Sim join us at the ongoing video chat. He was the Global Operations Director at Huobi Global and his experience in cryptos dates back to the dawn of cryptocurrency itself. Also popularly known as The Bitcoinman, he created the world’s first Crypto Chain University. The video chat generated a lot of hype as more than 300 members showed up to the video call and were engaged by listening and asking questions. Mr.Herbert bestowed a wealth of knowledge upon the community that he accumulated over the years. It was finally time for the presale and as the CEO was announcing the commencement of the event, the event ended before his sentence did. It took 1 whole second to completely sell out 550 BNB worth of $DSC tokens as the competition was fierce. The crowd went wild over it. Some celebrating that they got in on time, even more, were upset for being unable to purchase any tokens. All in all, it was a fruitful day.

Launch
Finally, the day to launch the crypto that will shape the future had arrived. 6 months of hard work and commitment all lead up to this moment. Community members were amped up for the grand event and so was a special guest. Kazuki Takahashi, a pro-Japanese football player who had recently signed up as an ambassador for DefiSports. Everyone was in awe when he showed up to the video chat. His presence along with the launching of the token brought in over 640 viewers to the video chat! It was an incredible sight to behold. He was the first athlete to have an AMA with the Defisports community. Mr.Kazuki shared his personal experiences in the sports industry and how our project’s use cases could be integrated into the sports industry to solve pre-existing issues. Eventually, the $DSC token had launched and has been on a steady uptrend ever since.

All these events lead to a very strong start and a solid foundation to build upon. Together the Defisports community is unstoppable and filled with aspirations to Shape The Future!
