DefiSports: Updates

CMC is the acronym for CoinMarketCap which is a utility that aggregates and reports live data on many different cryptocurrencies launched on various networks around the clock. The total value of the currency, also known as the market capitalization, trading volume, and the rank of the trading volume in the past 24 hours are some of the key features offered on the website.

The demand from the community to have DefiSports listed on their platform was high. Investors had mentioned on numerous occasions to having it done early on would be beneficial to the project and add to its integrity. As with all other suggestions from the community, the team took the requests seriously and swiftly took action by applying and had it fast-tracked.

With that being said, DefiSports was listed on their platform on the 26th of October, 2021. A lot of hype surrounded the event as the community was anxiously waiting for the day to come. When the news broke out, immense buying pressure spiked the price from 0.000392 up to 0.000528. Followed by panic selling which leveled out the price at 0.000316. Just them, buyers bought back in and pushed the price back up to 0.000615. All in all, it was a pretty volatile event in a short period and brought in a lot of trading volume. The event was a net positive as it raised the total market cap and also brought in 300 new holders.

The following day, DefiSports was trending on CMC and ranked 30th and has been steadily climbing the ranks. At the time of this writing, it sits comfortably at the 25th position.

As mentioned in the previous article, we have signed up Kazuki Takahashi as our athlete. He was born on the 6th of October, 1996 in Noba, Japan. Kazuki has always been an esteemed player who’s usually a central midfielder but may also be positioned as an attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder. Currently plays for the AFC Eskilstuna.

His interest in Defisports developed as soon as he had a meeting with the team and understood the vision. As he had always pondered upon why such a system of transparency and ease hadn’t been implemented in the past. His mission after advancing his sporting career is to leave a positive impact on the sports industry through Defisports. We welcome him to the family!
